Beware of Cloned Company Impersonating Active Mortgage – Urgent Consumer Alert
Chelmsford, 10th August 2023 – Active Mortgage, a reputable and well-established financial services company, would like to bring to the public’s attention a grave matter of concern. We have recently discovered that a fraudulent entity, operating under the name “Active Financial Trade” has cloned our company details and contact information in a blatant attempt to deceive consumers.
This company, posing as an FCA-registered entity, has gone to great lengths to project an image of legitimacy. They have appropriated our registered address and contact details to create a façade that aims to mislead unsuspecting individuals seeking financial services. We want to emphasise that we are in no way associated with or connected to “Active Financial Trade.” We offer our clients financial services NOT cryptocurrency investments.
Active Mortgages, Active Commercial, Active Insurance & Active Financial are trading names of Active Mortgage Co. Limited which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Upon discovering this fraudulent activity, we immediately took decisive action by alerting the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and engaging with various other third parties. Our dedicated team is collaborating closely with the FCA and other relevant authorities to halt these unscrupulous actions and protect consumers.
We urge the public to exercise extreme caution and vigilance. Do not engage in any trading activities with “Active Financial Trade.” The impersonation of our reputable brand is a reprehensible act that seeks to exploit innocent individuals for financial gain. We wholeheartedly condemn such actions and are committed to taking every measure necessary to bring these criminals to justice.
In light of this unfortunate situation, we want to reassure our valued clients and the wider community that Active Mortgage remains committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and trustworthiness. We have always prioritised the well-being and financial security of our clients.
For those who may have been approached by or have encountered “Active Financial Trade,” we urge you to refrain from any communication or interaction with them. Do not provide them with any personal or financial information, and under no circumstances should you transfer funds to their accounts.
